Budget Your Money.
Always find you're strapped for cash? Never have any money left over to buy the things you really need?
This is a small list of ways to help budget your money.
All of these work/have worked for me:
- Save - Obvious one, but saving your money does help whether you save all your money in a bank account or just a little bit in a piggy bank for a special occasion. I do both.
- When you go into town etc, try and go out with no money and just 'window shop'. That way you won't be tempted to buy things you don't need/want and if you really did want it, you will go back another day and get it.
- Cut down on sweets and snacks, not only are they unhealthy they aren't a necessity.
- Buy things you need, e.g. Do you really need that top that isn't your size? Or is a bit tight? The answer is probably no, and it is likely that the top won't last you long either.
- When it comes to clothes - Buy what you like regardless of style or trends, that way you're more likely to wear it often and keep it longer. An example is ponchos which really didn't last long as a trend.
- Get a part time job. If you are too young to do so then you ask parents/neighbours if they have any small jobs for you to do for some extra money.
- Sell your old things/donate to charity, e.g. Via eBay/car boot etc.
Here is a list of ways to earn some extra money.
I hope these suggestions have helped you.
